Set in the awe-inspiring landscapes of Pakistan’s northern Hunza Valley, kohQaf Festival is a three-day celebration of cultural heritage, strategic dialogue, and creative economy. Drawing its name from the mythical “Mountain of Qaf,” the festival bridges past and future — reviving ancient storytelling, musical traditions, and rituals, while engaging policy makers, artists, scholars, and communities in shaping a resilient, inclusive, and culturally confident Pakistan. Curated by Art Langar and hosted in collaboration with ALL4ONE Communications, the festival features immersive cultural performances, regional theatre, poetry, music from across Pakistan, and four high-level workshops on climate resilience, sustainable tourism, indigenous integration, and creative entrepreneurship. The opening ceremony in Gilgit features a traditional Bitan Ceremony and Polo Match, while the evenings in Hunza echo with music from Balti, Kalasha, Makrani, Shina, Burushaski, and Punjabi artists. kohQaf is not just a festival — it is a new cultural contract.
